John lives in Southern Ireland, where he is surrounded by spectacular scenery providing much inspiration for his work. The landscape is full of rugged charm, but as a contrast he travels to Provence, and Southern Italy to develop further his variety of venues. These in turn enhance his enjoyment for painting in Ireland, which is very noticeable in his most recent work.
